Case For Support:  Science at LHU

Lock Haven University opened the doors to a new opportunity with the completion of a new Science Center for the fall semester 2013.  The state of the art facility is the latest capital project for the University as it continues to plan for the future.  The new Science Center offers more education opportunities for students and increased capabilities for undergraduate and faculty research.

New Science Center offers:

  • More labs,
  • More state of the art equipment,
  • More opportunities for individual study,
  • More space for student/faculty research.

“Moving into the new building is a tremendous opportunity.  It’s large and provides much better space to improve the educational experience of students.  More labs will allow students and staff to do so much more research.  Every faculty member here has a research experience that hooked them.  My undergraduate research experience was pivotal in shaping my career,” stated Dr. Jonathan Lindzey.  “Now we have the opportunity to offer that experience to our students at Lock Haven University.”
