Alumni Affairs
Located in the Durrwachter Alumni Conference Center, Alumni Affairs provides programs and services for over 25,000 graduates, which support the philanthropic goals and mission of Lock Haven University. About the Foundation
- The LHU Foundation’s assets total more than $64 million
- Endowment increased from $0.5 million in 1990 to approximately $9.7 million at the end of the 2012 fiscal year
- Approximately 90.1% of the endowment is earmarked for scholarships
- The LHU Foundation administers more than 190 individually named scholarships
- Private giving for the 2011-12 fiscal year exceeded $3.1 million
- In 2011-2012, over $870,000 was awarded for academic and athletic scholarships, impacting more than 500 students
- Since 1996, the Foundation has topped the $1 million mark for gift-giving for 17 consecutive years
- Alliance Bernstein manages LHU Foundation investments
