Erin Pawlak, '03

Erin Pawlak began her tenure at Lock Haven University in October 2004 as the Assistant Director of Development, visiting donors and alumni to raise funds for special projects and scholarships. In August of 2005 Erin was promoted to the Director of Annual Giving where she fundraised for the Annual Fund through direct mail, the annual phonathon and reunion campaigns. Erin currently serves as the Director of Annual Giving and Stewardship where she is now also responsible for stewardship, donor recognition and maintaining the LHUF web pages. In addition, Erin is the manager of the Durrwachter Alumni Conference Center liquor license.

Erin received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Lock Haven University in 2003 and her Master’s of Science degree in Higher Education Administration from Drexel University in 2008. She and her husband, Edward reside in the Lock Haven area with their two daughters, Emerson (3) and Finley (1).


Matt Hardy, CFRE

Matt came to Lock Haven as the Director of Athletic Development in August of 2009.  In January of 2011 he was promoted to Major Gifts Officer. He comes to Lock Haven from the University of Mary Washington where he served as Associate Director of Annual Giving Reunion Programs.  He also has experience in small business, as a fundraiser at Susquehanna University, and as a financial services representative.

As major gift officer for the LHU Foundation he will be responsible for securing gifts to the foundation to support a broad range of programs, including endowed scholarships, support for capital projects for university facilities, and gifts to campaigns. His new responsibilities with a wider scope will capitalize on his past annual fund experience, his major and planned gifts work and his recent success in raising funds for athletics. His capacity to fundraise across disciplines will provide the maximum benefit to the Foundation and to the University.

Matt will also continue to support athletics given his general appreciation for the role of Intercollegiate Athletics in the student experience. He is a member of CASE and has moderated a round table discussion at the NACDA convention in June 2011 as part of the National Association of Athletic Development Directors. He is a graduate of Penn State University and earned his Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation in June of 2013.


Carleigh Johnson, '06

Carleigh joined the Lock Haven University Foundation in April of 2011 as a Major Gifts Officer. She was previously the Leasing and Marketing Manager at Evergreen Commons; the off campus housing facility for Lock Haven University students. Carleigh earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from Lock Haven University in 2006 and her Master of Business Administration degree from Bloomsburg University in 2008. In between her degrees she worked at Hodges University in Naples, Florida as the Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of University Advancement.

In July 2014, Carleigh moved to Director of Athletic Development, where she is responsible for securing gifts to the foundation to support a broad range of programs, including endowed scholarships, support for capital projects for university facilities, and gifts to campaigns through athletics.

Carleigh is a 2012 graduate of Leadership Clinton County, a program administered by the Clinton County Economic Partnership designed to strengthen the county’s civic capacity through its individual leaders.  She lives in Mill Hall with her husband and dog, Ebony, and they are expecting a baby boy, Wesley, in the fall. 


Rhonda Walker

Rhonda began working for the Foundation in September 2010 as Database Administrator providing technological assistance to the alumni and development staff. She brings her database experience to the Foundation having worked in Keystone Central School District as a Student Information Systems Specialist for 19 years overseeing the student and teacher databases. She is responsible for the management of the constituent database, contact information updates, gift entry and acknowledgements.

Rhonda received her Associate’s Degree in Business Administration and Accounting with a minor in Computers from South Hills School of Business & Technology in June 2000. She is currently working toward her Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Management. She lives in Lock Haven where she enjoys outdoor activities such as kayaking, snowmobiling and taking walks with her dogs.

Lisa came to work for the Lock Haven University Foundation in May of 2008.  Lisa is the Fiscal Assistant for the LHU Foundation as well as Rental Coordinator of Foundation Village, the student apartment building located at the Clearfield Campus.

Lisa earned her Associates Degree in Computer Information Technologies from The Pennsylvania College of Technology, where she also minored in Business.  Lisa is a resident of Lock Haven and a graduate of Leadership Clinton County, a program administered by the Clinton County Economic Partnership designed to strengthen the county’s civic capacity through its individual leaders.

Lisa has two children and 2 granddaughters. Her daughter is married and resides in NJ with her husband, who is stationed at McGuire AFB, with their daughters.  Lisa’s son is a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force Security Forces K9 unit.  He resides in Wyoming with his wife.

Troy M. Miller, CFRE

Troy M. Miller is the Executive Director and Chief  Development Officer for the Lock Haven University Foundation. He returns to LHUF after a four-year stint as Director of Individual Giving at the Pennsylvania State University. Troy has over 20 years of experience in  development, and has lived in Lock Haven with his family (including his  wife, Beth, and his two children, Peyton and Paige) for nearly the last  decade.

Troy is a graduate of the Leadership Clinton County program, and is  currently on the Board of the Ross Library. Prior board positions  include the Clinton County YMCA and the United Way of Clinton County. He also has previously volunteered for the local Boy Scouts. Troy is a  member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.


Amanda Keiffer, CPA

Amanda began working for the Lock Haven University Foundation in April of 2014 as the Chief Financial Officer.  Amanda is responsible for the fiscal affairs of the Foundation including managing the annual financial audit and maintaining accurate financial records, internal controls, and official documents of the Foundation.  Prior to joining the Foundation, Amanda was the Student Accounts Supervisor at Lock Haven University where she was responsible for the billing and collection of student bills.  Amanda also has experience in public accounting spending her first years out of college at the regional CPA firm, SF & Company as a staff accountant / auditor.

Amanda graduated from Lock Haven University in 2009 with two Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Business Administration.  She has been licensed through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Certified Public Accountant since December 2010.  A lifelong resident of Clinton County, Amanda enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and family.

Katelynn began working for the Foundation in February 2014 as the Development Assistant. She is responsible for managing day-to-day administrative duties within the Foundation office as well as assisting with special events at the Durrwachter Alumni Conference Center. Maintenance of the Alumni Online Community and the Raiser’s Edge system are also a part of her responsibilities.
Katelynn received her Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Management with a focus in Community/Commercial Recreation from Lock Haven University in 2010. She lives in Lock Haven with her fiancÚ and looks forward to getting married in the fall.

Ashley Koser
Director of Alumni Relations & Special Events

Ashley joined the Lock Haven University Foundation in March of 2014 as the Director of Alumni Relations and Special Events. She comes to Lock Haven from Susquehanna University where she served as the Assistant Director of Annual Giving-Mass Communications.

As the Director of Alumni Relations and Special Events, Ashley is responsible for engaging alumni in the university through alumni chapters and events. She will also work with alumni on reunion planning,  mailings, homecoming and the annual phonathon.

 Ashley graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and a minor in Agricultural Communications. She and her husband, Tyler live in the Lock Haven area.

Chaelim Choplosky, ‘14

Chaelim joined the Lock Haven University Foundation in April of 2014, as the Camps Director. Chaelim was previously a graduate assistant in the LHU Athletic Department, where he earned his M.S. in Sports Science. Chaelim also graduated from LHU with his B.S. in Sport Administration, along with working in the athletic department, sports information department, and at the LHU student rec center. His camp background consists of working with both NCAA Division I Villanova University and Penn State University Men’s Basketball Camps over the years.

As camps director, his responsibilities are to manage day-to-day operations of all LHU camps, including both athletic and traditional camps. Chaelim also coordinates camp housing, meals, sponsorship, registration, and managing the camp website. He will also assist with LHU athletic department sponsorship, advertising and the Bald Eagle Bucks program.

Kasey came to work for Lock Haven University Foundation in September of  2013 as the Phonathon Coordinator for the Annual Fund. She works with  the Director of Alumni Relations and oversees the Student Development  Representatives for the Annual Phonathon. Kasey graduated from Lock  Haven University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Management and a concentration in Therapeutic Recreation.

┬ While at Lock Haven, Kasey was a distance swimmer for the Lady Eagles,  and is excited to continue working with Athletics and other clubs on  campus through the Phonathon. Kasey and her husband reside in Lock  Haven, and love being a part of the LHU community.
