Ashley joined the Lock Haven University Foundation in March of 2014 as the Director of Alumni Relations. She comes to Lock Haven from Susquehanna University where she served as the Assistant Director of Annual Giving. Ashley graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and a minor in Agricultural Communications

As the Director of Alumni Relations, Ashley is responsible for engaging alumni in the university through regional alumni events. She works with alumni on reunion planning, mailings, homecoming and the annual phoneathon. She also manages the Alumni Board.

Ashley is a 2015 graduate of Leadership Clinton County and volunteers with the PA 4-H Horse Program. She, her husband, Tyler, and their son, Clayton, live in the Lock Haven area.

Katelynn joined the Lock Haven University Foundation in February 2014 as the Development Assistant. In July of 2015, she moved to Director of Stewardship and Special Events, where she is now responsible for overseeing all stewardship components of the Foundation as well as planning, coordinating and executing all direct mail pieces. She also plays a role in all of the alumni and community relation special events; acting as main liaison between event organizers, sponsors and marketing/communications.

Before her time at the Foundation she earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Recreation Management with a focus in Community/Commercial Recreation from Lock Haven University in 2010. Katelynn, her husband, Eli, and their son, Isaiah, reside in the Lock Haven area.

Wayne Martin

Wayne joined the Lock Haven University Foundation in September of 2016.  Wayne is responsible for the daily accounting functions of the Foundation, administering the Foundation’s benefits and Emergency Student Loan programs as well as overseeing the Foundation Village property.  Wayne brings over 25 years of experience holding various positions from staff accountant to regional controller while working for retail, manufacturing, transportation, utility, and oil & gas companies.

 Wayne graduated from SUNY at Fredonia in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.  A native of the  Southern Tier area of New York, he now resides in the Jersey Shore area with his wife and 2 sons. His oldest son is a  student at Lock Haven University.

Matt began working for the Lock Haven University Foundation in July of 2015 as the Alumni Engagement and Outreach Officer.  He comes to the Foundation Office from the Office of Admissions at Lock Haven University, where he served as an admissions counselor from August 2011 to June 2015.    

As the Alumni Outreach and Engagement Officer, Matt is responsible with connecting, informing, and reengaging alumni and annual donors (individuals, corporations, foundation, and other organizations) to Lock Haven University.  He will also collaborate on fundraising projects and campaigns for specific programs, and coincide with the Director of Alumni Relations attending alumni events. 

Matt is a graduate of Lock Haven University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education in 2011, and Master of Science degree in Sport Studies with a concentration in Sport and Exercise Psychology in 2015.  He also serves as a Volunteer Assistant Coach for the Lock Haven University Baseball Program.

Ashley joined Lock Haven University June 2016 as a Development Assistant. She is responsible for assisting the Executive Director and Chief Development Officer. She provides information, management support and represents the Executive Director. Prior to joining the foundation, Ashley was an Assistant Stewardship Coordinator at Penn State University where she managed the Chair and Professorships Endowment and processed all the gifts that came into the College of Engineering.
 
Ashely received her Associated degree in Accounting from Dubois Business College in 2008. She, her husband, Justin, and their son, Chase, live in the Lock Haven area with their dog Scout.

AJ joined the Lock Haven University Foundation in May of 2017.  Before joining the Foundation, he graduated from Lock Haven University with two Bachelor of Science degrees in Applied Computer Science and Sports Administration. 

As the Database Coordinator and Prospect Researcher, AJ is responsible for maintaining accurate records of Alumni and various constituents related to the Foundation. 

He also serves as the Data Protection Officer(DPO), where he is responsible for informing individuals of their data protection rights. Please contact him with any questions regarding your data.

Pam Bowes

Pam joined the Lock Haven University Foundation in January of 2017 as the Budget Manager. She comes to Lock Haven University Foundation from the Lock Haven Area YMCA where she served as the Business Manager for the past 15 years. Pam also served as the Executive Director of the Clinton County United Way from 1986 to 2002.

As budget Manager, Pam is the steward of Lock Haven University Foundation's income statement. She is responsible for all aspects of budgeting, expense, and revenue monitoring as well as departmental and fund/project financial reports. Pam recently received her commission as a notary public.

Pam’s daughter, Jacqueline Plessinger is a 2009 graduate of Lock Haven University. Pam is a past member of the Holy Spirit Finance Council and the Lock Haven Area Kiwanis Club. She lives in Lock Haven with her dog Bella.

Nicole joined the Lock Haven University Foundation in January 2017 as the Chief Financial Officer. As the CFO, she is responsible for managing the fiscal & operational affairs of the Foundation. 

Nicole comes to the Foundation from the Lock Haven University Financial Operations Department where she served as a Financial Specialist from 2011-2018. She began her career with Lock Haven University in 1991 in the Bursar's Office. In 1995, she moved to the LHU Foundation as a fiscal Technician and then in 1998 joined the staff of the LHU Small Business Development Center as a Business Consultant for 13 years. 

She is a 1990 graduate of Lock Haven University with her degree in Accounting. 

Nicole proudly served on the LHU Alumni Board for 20 years. She resides in Lock Haven with her husband, Jay. Their two children are currently enrolled at Lock Haven University.

Jeff began working for the Lock Haven University Foundation in March of 2018 as a Leadership Gift Officer. He comes to the Foundation Office from SIDEARM Sports, where he served as the Manger of Streaming Services for the past year.    

As a Leadership Gift Officer, Jeff is responsible for working with alumni and annual donors on a daily basis to help raise scholarship funds for both Academics and Athletics at Lock Haven. Jeff is currently the head on several projects such as the Class Gift for the Class of 1966, rebranding and relaunching the Bald Eagle Athletics Club as well as securing corporate sponsorships for Lock Haven Athletics. 

Jeff is a graduate of Lock Haven University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Administration in 2015 and a Master of Science degree in Sport Studies with a concentration in Sport Administration in 2017. Jeff also worked in the Lock Haven Athletic Communications Department as an undergrad and then served as a Graduate Assistant in the Athletic Communications Department while working on his Master’s Degree.

John joined the Lock Haven University Foundation in March of 2018 as its Assistant Director of Engagement. He is responsible for the creation of marketing materials for the Foundation and other departments on campus, as well as engaging alumni through social media and other forms of direct outreach. 

He graduated from Lock Haven University in 2013, summa cum laude, with his B.A. in Communication Media. As a student he received the Rebecca Gross Scholarship Award and was a highly-active member of the student body. He served two years as News and Sports Editor of the Eagle Eye, hosted his own show on WLHU Radio, and did live play by play of LHU sporting events for HavenC@st. His favorite LHU memory is the day that he made the live call for HavenC@st as the football team snapped its record 52-game losing streak, and he bolted out of the press box to help pull down the goal posts at Hubert Jack Stadium. 

Since graduating he's worked in various forms of media including: sports writing and sports broadcasting, designing corporate training materials, advertising sales, and media buying. Prior to joining the foundation he was the Director of Media and Public Relations for a senior living market growth firm. He's a self-trained woodworker and enjoys building headboards, coffee tables and porch swings.

He lives in Williamsport, PA with his wife Alyssa, a 2014 LHU grad, their son Vinny, and their black lab, "Crazy Daisy Mae."
